008 – Overnight freeze in Normandy

Nestled in a very rural part of Normandy lies the village of Breteuil sur iton. A typical small country village, charming, but struggling a bit to attract residents. Sort of the typical untouristic destination, although it is half an hour from Giverny and the Monet treasures, and just an hour from the normandy beaches.
One winter night, temperature suddenly dropped (a lot) and the landscape was changed instantly. I spent most of the following day walking around to enjoy this unique scenery.
It never happened again, and I am glad I witnessed it. Here are some photos of this instant freeze in Normandy.
