011 – Low light London

London is a treasure cove for any kind of photography, and gives us a myriad of opportunities to capture its vibrancy.

My daughter is attending college there, which means I have been very lucky to be able to visit this wonderful city quite often. It’s always a pleasure, and although it is too “fast and urban” for me to live in, there is so much to enjoy that i’m always eager to plan my next visit.

I chose to dedicate this post to pictures I took either at dusk, sunset, or in the very early hours of the morning, the latter being my favorite time of the day to take photos.

I admit I have a crush for the south bank area, and this is where I take most of my morning photos.
